Japan Drive Route Guide

This day will head from Naha to Onna aera. Mileage is about 190km without highway and it is recommended to start 8:00～9:00 if you don't lile huried travel.
The first destination is a symbol of Okinawa "Shurijo Castle(首里城)" Let's walk around the red color castle which is totally different from typical castles in main land of Japan. Their main gate "Shureimon(守礼門)" is in 2000 yen bill and nice place to take a photo.
This is the first day of Okinawa driving trip and why don't you try Okinawa food? Our daily driving map will guide you some nice Okinawa food restaurant which is using old traditional house and Okinawa soba restaurant.
Then, let's drive to "Kafu Banta Cliff(果報バンタ)" via "Kaichu Road(海中道路)". This is a road on the beautiful sea and you can enjpy really pleasant driving. There are some nice gelato shop and Kakigori shop and let's take a rest there. If you still have energy, let's move to "Katsurenjo Castle Ruin-勝連城跡" whish is listed as UNESCO world heritage. You can enjoy panolamic view from 100m height ruin.
If you still have a time, it is recommended to stop by "Zanpa Criff(残波岬)" and enjoy breathtaking sunset before check-in.

This day will go back to Naha from Onna. Mileage is about 100km.
The first destination on this day is ”Cape Manzamo(万座毛)”. It is the most famous cape in Okinawa because of its elephant shape. Highly recommended.
If you haven't visit "Cape Zampa(残波岬)" in Yomitan, let's stop by there. Panoramic ocean view is waiting for you.
Recommended Iunch on this day is cafes faced to ocean and american style beef steak. Our daily driving map will let you know details.
Then, let's drive to "Minatogawa Stateside Town(港川外国人住宅街)". Originally it was residences for US military and most of them are renovated as nice atmosphere cafes and souvenir shops.
Next destination is "Tomari Port Fish Market(泊いゆまち)". If the timing is much, you can see Tsuna cutting scene. If you would like to enjoy shopping before going back to your country, you can stop at a big duty-free shop near the market.
There are heavy traffic jam adound Naha especially Kokusai Street and it takes time to return your car too. If you don't stay Naha and take flight on this day, please reach rental car shop at least 3 hours before the flight.

This day is the day of between two consecutive stay in Naha. Mileage is about 70km only and you can travel leisurely. It is recommended to travel Okinawa southern area in a clock wise direction.
The first destination is a "Sefa Utaki(斎場御嶽)" holy place of Ryukyu Kingdom(Ancient Okinawa). You can drive there through Niraikanai Bridge View spot.
There are many nice cafes where you can enjoy panolamic ocean view around there and recommended to have a lunch. Our daily driving map will guide you them.
The biggest highlight of this day is "
Okinawa World Gyokusendo Cave(沖縄ワールド&玉泉洞)". You can touch Okinawa cultures at many traditional Okinawa houses build more than 100 years ago.They hold free traditional dance Eisa every day and please don't miss it. There is another highlight Gyokusendo Cave one of the biggest lime stone cave in Japan.
In front of Okinawa world, t"Vallery of Gangala" is also worht to visit.
"Peace Memorial Museum(平和祈念資料館)" and "Himeyuri Peace Museum(ひめゆり平和祈念資料館)" the heritage of WWⅡare also recommended to visit to learn what is war.
There are many other spots like winary, Glass village, Okinawa style garden and so on. It is better to pick up spots where you would like to visit before departure.
