San'in, a hidden gem found in the northern part of Honshu. You can visit the Tottori Sand Dune, the largest sand dune in Japan, the sand dunes are part of San'in Kaigan Geopark. Also found in the San'in Kaigan Geopark is the Uradome coast, which offers a great scenic view of the coast. Another must-visit spot is the Izumo Taisha Grand shrine, the oldest and one of Japan's most important shrines. Many people visit this shrine every year. Some must-try dishes in this region are fresh fish, squid, crab and sea bream on the rice. For this region, we will be providing 6 driving routes from Osaka, Kurashiki, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka.
