Gongendo Park is famous for its large number of cherry trees. From late March to early April, about 1,000 cherry trees bloom, creating a cherry blossom tunnel over 1 kilometer. Rape blossoms have been planted around the cherry trees, creating a brilliant contrast between the yellow and pink blossoms that are truly spectacular to see. In addition, colorful hydrangeas in June start to bloom and cluster amaryllis dyed in bright red in September. While pretty white narcissus are in full bloom in January and you can enjoy Gongendo Tsutsumi throughout the year. About 3,000 sakura trees were planted about 100 years ago and became Saitama Prefecture’s best cherry blossoms viewing spot.

Advice:
The best time to see the cherry blossoms is from the end of March to the beginning of April every spring
The "Sakura Festival" is held around that time. The collaboration of cherry blossoms and rape blossoms is definitely recommended.

Narcissus: Early Jan-Early Feb
