Torayama Thousand Cherry Blossom
虎山の千本桜

MAPCODE for car park : 91 817 725*56

The literal translation of "Torayama Thousand Cherry Blossom" is "1000 cherry trees in Torayama", but in reality 1700 cherry trees are planted toward the hill. Torayama means “tiger mountain" and as you enter the pathway under the entranceway, there is a carved wooden sculpture tiger to the right. This is a holy place for cosplay, and if you can meet some cosplayers, you're lucky, but not always. It is fun to watch and enjoy while surrounded by beautiful cherry trees. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it becomes a tunnel of cherry blossoms of about 2km. The road where the cherry blossoms continue is a mountain road, so it looks like a light mountain climb, but the view at the summit is superb.
