Hodosan Shrine寳登山神社
Hodosan Shrine is one of the three major Chichibu shrines, along with Chichibu Shrine and "Mitsumine Shrine". It has also been awarded one star in the Michelin Guide. The shrine was built at the foot of Mount Hodo in the year 110 and has traditionally been a place where visitors come to pray for protection against natural disasters. Surrounded by lush forest, the shrine is atmospheric and makes for one of the best places in the area to see autumn colors. Also, during the cherry blossom season, you can drive under the beautiful rows of cherry blossom trees.
