Chichibu is famous for pork dishes such as waraji katsu bowl and fried pork giblets, but the miso pork bowl is very popular among locals and tourists. Nosaka is the most famous restaurant in Saitama prefecture of Chichibu's famous "pork miso bowl". The "Pork miso bowl" was born when Nosaka, which was originally a soba restaurant, was renewed to a "pork miso bowl" specialty store in 2008. Therefore, this restaurant is the birthplace of the "pork miso bowl". The outside of Nosaka still looks like the outside of a soba restaurant. During lunchtime on weekends, over 100 people line up outside the shop before it even opens.
To avoid the queue, it is recommended to go before 11:00 or after 14:00. However, there is a risk of going past 14:00 as it will end as soon as the meat runs out.
During the fall foliage season and consecutive holidays, there are days when you can't eat in the restaurant and only buy lunch boxes to avoid congestion.
The parking lot next door is also available, so please refer to the parking lot photo when the private parking lot is full.
Opening hours: 11: 00-15: 00
* Ends as soon as the pork runs out
About 700m from Chichibu Station.
