
Akaginanmen Thousand Cherry Blossom赤城南面千本桜
At Akaginammen Senbonzakura, Yoshino cherry trees continue for 1.3km on both sides of the road at the southern foot of Mt. Akagi, making it the most popular cherry blossom viewing spot in Gunma prefecture. The shape of each branch is also wonderful, and when it is in full bloom, it becomes a tunnel of cherry blossoms and entertains tourists. During the Sakura Festival, A variety of local produce is sold and events such as folk entertainment performances are held. Near Akaginammen Senbonzakura, there is also the "Sakura Zone of the World" that opened recently, where you can enjoy 37 kinds of cherry blossoms and rape blossoms. Besides cherry blossoms, you can enjoy seasonal flowers. Yamatsutsuji are planted along the Senbonzakura trees on the south side of Akagi, and the beautiful flowers bloom from the beginning to the end of May. The cluster amaryllis is in full bloom from late September to early October.

There are multiple parking lots in the area. MAPCODE points to the entrance of a large parking lot (Miyagi Senbon Sakura no Mori Park), but if there is a traffic control staff in the vicinity, please follow the instructions.
