Kanmandaki Waterfall is located along the Shiga Kusatsu Route(Route292), is the largest waterfall in Shigakogen Plateau with a width of 20m and a height of 107m, and is the 7th highest waterfall in Japan. The rough appearance of the rock wall mixes with fresh green in summer and autumn leaves in autumn, creating an outstanding view. Kanmandaki Observation Deck is an exquisite viewpoint overlooking this waterfall. There is also a promenade leading to Meisui Park, where you can enjoy walking and forest bathing. This waterfall has been designated as a scenic spot in Yamanouchi Town, Nagano Prefecture, and is popular with many amateur photographers.
