Roadside Station Hananoeki Chikumagawa道の駅 花の駅千曲川
Roadside Station Hananoeki Chikumagawa is located in the middle of the Chikuma River, the largest river in Japan. In spring, the area along the embankment of cherry blossoms is dyed in cherry blossoms, and the bright yellow of the rape field shines on the other side of the Chikuma River. Thanks to the landscape regulations set by the local government, there are no large signboards around, and the surrounding scenery is outstanding. Surrounded by mountains and blue skies reminiscent of the Japanese countryside in summer, rich countryside in autumn, and magnificent snow in winter. Facilities include a tourist information corner, agricultural product sales corner, souvenir sales corner, and Cafe, in addition to basic toilets, vending machines, and public telephones.
The best time to see the cherry blossoms and rape blossoms are around End Apr-Mid May.
