National Bihoku Hills Park

国営備北丘陵公園

The first national park to be created in the Chugoku region is a place to get in touch with nature by kids and grown-ups alike. This is the 11th national park to be established in Japan. There is a three-hectare Flower Square where 70 varieties of flowers blossom between spring and autumn. Under the theme "Home and Play" the park tries to reconstruct living in the hills of Chugoku as well as rural sceneries of the Bihoku region where the so-called "Hiba-no-Sato", "fresh lawn square", "mountain athletic course" and similar facilities have been prepared
