Unokonotaki Fallsうのこの滝
You probably noticed that the Miyazaki prefecture shelters hundreds of marvelous natural spots. The Unokonotaki Falls are undoubtedly among the most beautiful ones. The scenery of this waterfall is idyllic and is worth observing for hours. There is an observatory deck to take full advantage of the beauty of the scenery. At Drive Japan and as travel experts, we strongly recommend this destination with a strong 5-star ranking.
You can contemplate the beauty of nature with its impressive height of 20meters between two mountains. The water then falls into a very small lake. It truly looks like paradise. If you have the chance to go there in autumn, then the view is even more delightful thanks to the red leaves trees. On the observatory deck which is at the opposite side of the river, you can benefit from a view from above to gain a global sight. It is located 4km away from the parking. To reach it, you need to take the car as there is no direct road going from the waterfall to the observatory deck, even if there are only a few meters away. Both MAPCODES are provided below. If you seek for a spot that will make you forget about your office problems and make you feel connected with nature, then this spot is made for you. The fact that the spot is located 5min away from the parking might not be convenient for everyone. Indeed, if you, unfortunately, present some health conditions, then we wouldn’t advise going there. The path is not really convenient and can be troublesome for some people. If you are healthy and seeking for an amazing natural spot, then be sure to go there! Also, we advise travelers to go both to the observatory deck, but also to walk closer to the waterfalls. Taking some pictures there certainly will make all your friends and family jealous!
Advice:
The pin on the map is for the closest parking for falls itself. Once you are parked, you need to walk for 5 minutes to reach the waterfalls.
