Nishi Oyama Station is known as the southernmost station in Japan operated by JR. Besides being an operating station it provides a breathtaking view of Kaimon-dake volcano to the front. Here you can also see rape flowers and sunflower that stands as symbol of Ibusuki.
You also can buy a postcard at the shop in front of the station and send it from the yellow color post at the station.
