The Niigata Saito Villa

The Saito Villa is a huge villa built by Kijuro Saito in 1918 with a total site area of 4,290 square meters. He was one of the three major conglomerates in Niigata and served as a member of the House of Lords.
This villa is a renowned place of scenic beauty and was stylishly built using modern Japanese architecture.
Visitors often spend a luxurious afternoon peacefully drinking matcha tea (green tea) and enjoy the 100 tatami mat hall view.
The garden is lusciously green with wonderful slopes of dunes. The autumn season is recommended to see the contrasting colours and lovely leaves.
